Delivery times will differ depending on your location in Canada. Shipping within Ontario typically takes 1-3 business days. Shipping to British Columbia typically takes 3-7 business days. Shipping to New Brunswick typically takes 3-7 business days. Delivery will differ based on location.

How much is Shipping & Handling?

Price of shipping is calculated based on location by province, or by weight of product purchased. Shipping prices will vary as our products are held to shipping standards that require us to be able to track all packages sent. Tracked packages are more expensive to ship than regular mail that only requires a stamp. Shipments are processed through UPS or Canada Post depending on the delivery destination.

How will I know if the Heat Therapy is right for me?

CryoDerm Heat products contain Capsaicin; some patients are hypersensitive to this ingredient. Some patients may experience excessive redness, discomfort, blistering or experience what they perceive to be an unpleasant burning sensation. It is advisable to place a small amount of this product on the inside of the forearm to see if it is tolerated by each patient. If the patient reacts to the product, advise them to use soap and cold water, dairy products, or olive oil to neutralize the effects of the Capsaicin. Never use hot water.

CryoDerm Heat products also contain Camphor. It is advised that patients do not apply heating packs or cover the area as it may cause skin irritation, redness, or burning. Advise patients that this product contains Capsaicin prior to application or distribution of samples. For complete warnings and information please see the product label.

Is it okay to use Magnesium Calming Cream as a massage lotion? Will it give patients too much magnesium?

It is likely that using Magnesium Calming Cream as a massage lotion is okay, as Hypermagnesemia (too much magnesium) is fairly uncommon and typically occurs due to renal failure. On this note, be cautious using large quantities of the cream on those patients who have kidney disease or disorder as they may not be able to filter excess magnesium from their bodies as easily as the general population. The Office of Dietary Supplements notes that "too much magnesium from food does not pose a health risk in healthy individuals because the kidneys eliminate excess amounts in the urine". It also mentions that high doses of magnesium from supplements or medications may result in diarrhea, however trans-dermal application of cream circumvents these side effects as it is not processed in the digestive tract as an oral supplement is.
